How To Human is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, legal advice, crisis support, or a replacement for professional care or human relationships.

The courses are educational and reflective. They may help you think more clearly about certain situations. They are not a substitute for professional support, and they are not designed to treat, diagnose, or manage any condition.

If you are dealing with something that needs professional support, please seek it. Using these courses alongside professional care is fine - but they are not a replacement for it.

If you are in immediate danger

If you are in immediate danger, might hurt yourself or someone else, or cannot stay safe: contact local emergency services now, or reach out to a trusted person or crisis support service in your area.

How To Human is not equipped to respond to crisis situations. It cannot call for help, alert anyone, or provide real-time support.

If a course section brings up something overwhelming, please step away and reach out to a real person.

What the AI can and cannot do.

The courses use AI-assisted guided practice spaces. The AI can help with structure, rehearsal, examples, scripts, and reflection. It is not conscious, not a therapist, and not an authority over your life.

The AI responds to your inputs. It does not remember you between sessions unless you provide that context. It can make mistakes. It should not be your only source of support.

Do not share information with it that you are not comfortable sharing with an AI system. Your conversations are subject to the platform's own privacy and data terms.

Pacing note

If a course section becomes too much, you can pause, skip it, or stop entirely. There is no obligation to continue. Low-energy versions of most exercises are available.

Coming back later is fine. Stopping is fine. Doing less is fine. Your pace is correct.
