Course 09
PDA and Task Paralysis
Nothing here is mandatory. Whenever you are ready.
What this course is for
Task paralysis and PDA-style demand avoidance are not laziness. They are nervous-system responses to demands that feel threatening - even self-chosen ones. Generic advice makes it worse, not better.
For autistic/ADHD/ND adults who freeze around hygiene, cleaning, emails, bills, or work - even when they want to do the thing. You will understand your demand patterns and build autonomy-friendly, low-spoons tools that fit your nervous system, not someone else's.
What you will work through
- Understand PDA-style demand avoidance as a nervous-system pattern, not a flaw
- Map your demand triggers across hygiene, home, admin, and work
- Autonomy-first reframes - sneaking past the "you can't make me" wall
- Minimum-viable routines for bad days (mouthwash counts; bare minimum IS the goal)
- Shame scripts unpacked and replaced with ND-affirming counter-stories
- Scripts to negotiate expectations with partners, family, or colleagues
- Your PDA-Friendly Task Survival Plan (Kravplan)
